Feras Al-Kandari was appointed as a Designated Member of RMB in August 2014.
He is also appointed as the Chief Financial Advisor to a prominent Qatari Family Office with international business interests. In this role, he chairs the Investment Committee and actively manages investments across all asset classes. Feras has extensive experience in public and private financing, as well as M&A and other strategic transactions.
Feras has completed numerous transactions across a wide range of industries including, Retail, Oil & Gas, Banking and Real Estate.
Previously, Feras was the Deputy Group CEO of a large Middle Eastern conglomerate, with oversight of multiple divisions including Treasury, Private Equity and Direct Investment opportunities and was also Head of Treasury at KAMCO, Kuwait.
Feras has majored in two post graduate degrees; Economics and Civil Engineering and is involved in various charitable endeavours including The Chain of Hope.
Chief Executive Officer
Sam joined Rosette as Chief Operating Officer in October 2014 from a leading London based Structured Credit Asset Management firm where she grew the business from its start-up phase, leaving after seven years as Managing Director. Her previous financial services experience includes roles with Nomura International as an Assistant Vice President within the Fixed Income Division and then with Lehman Brothers as a Vice President in the Investment Banking Division
Prior to her financial services career, Sam was commissioned as a British Army Officer having graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 1997. During her time in service she served with a number of Regiments including roles with the Infantry and the Royal Engineers. Sam holds a BSc (Hons) in Special Psychology.
Sam was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Rosette in March 2018, having been acting CEO since July 2017 and in her spare time is a governor of a leading independent school in Wiltshire.
Chief Business Development Officer, Real Estate
Amr joined RMB in February 2016 as Chief Business Development Officer, Real Estate. He is a senior professional with 18 years of experience in the hospitality and Real Estate sectors having held senior positions with Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company (between 2008-2013) as Global Head of Sales based in Qatar. In this role, Amr was responsible for sales related operations for a number of global projects, strategy, creation of sales policies and sales team development.
From 2013 until he joined RMB, Amr served as Head of Business Development for Jones Lang LaSalle (London based) to lead business development in the MENA region. Responsibilities in this role included business development, and investor relations with MENA based clients.
Amr holds a Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting Major from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt.
Chief Investment Officer
Adam joined RMB in February 2016 and has extensive and senior Real Estate structured product experience having held senior positions at Gatehouse Bank plc from 2009-2013; Vice President in 2009, Head of Acquisitions (2010-11) and then Head of Real Estate (2011-2013). At Gatehouse, Adam was responsible for acquisitions and launching the bank’s Real Estate fund as well as serving on the Executive Committee where his role was to advise the Chairman and Board on all Real Estate related matters.
Previous employment has been with HDG Mansur Investment Services as an Associate within the Acquisitions team where he worked on the $2 billion HSBC Amanah Global Properties Income Fund principal mandate, CIT Group plc as an investment analyst within the Investment and Acquisition team and Bank of Scotland within the Joint Ventures, Corporate Banking division.
Adam holds a BA (Hons) Modern History, Economic History & Politics from the Royal Holloway, University of London.
Stuart joined RMB in April 2018, bringing with him extensive experience in both Real Estate acquisitions and Islamic Finance. He joined from Amiri Capital LLP, where he was an Investment Director (2014-2018). Leading the origination and structuring of UK and European Real Estate investments, Stuart had a particular focus on ‘alternative’ Real Estate sectors.
Prior to this, Stuart worked at Gatehouse Bank plc as a Vice President (2008-2013). He invested across all Real Estate asset classes, particularly within the student accommodation and data centre sectors. During this period, he led the establishment of a sukuk issuance platform, issuing real estate backed sukuk. He was also seconded to Malaysia in 2012 to establish a Representative Office for the bank.
Before working in London, Stuart was an Associate in the International Investments team at Noor Investment, part of National Industries Group, in Kuwait (2005-2008) where he helped establish four shariah compliant listed-equity funds and led the analysis and execution of an IPO investment strategy.
Stuart holds a BA (hons) in Arabic with Anthropology and a MA in Islamic Political Economy, both from the University of Durham. He also holds the Islamic Finance Qualification from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments and is an Arabic speaker.
Zahir is an English law qualified solicitor who joined Rosette on a full time basis in February 2018 following a 5 month secondment from law firm Foot Anstey.
Zahir has a deep specialism in structured Islamic finance transactions and has been commended by previous clients on his management of complex, high-value, cross-border real estate deals. Notably, he acted as Legal Counsel to Rosette on its successful £37mn acquisition of the House of Fraser department store in Cardiff and its £15mn acquisition of the Debenhams retail store at The Quadrant in Swansea.
Zahir holds a First Class LLB Law degree, has obtained the Islamic Finance Qualification (IFQ) from the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment and is a member of the Arab Bankers Association.
Colin joined RMB as Finance Director in July 2017. He has extensive previous experience in the financial services sector having held earlier positions as a Management Accountant at AIG Europe (UK) Limited and Jardine Lloyd Thomson Group PLC. Colin then took up a Senior Fund Accountant role with Schroders in Bermuda, moving to become an Assistant Vice President at JPMorgan.
Colin then assumed a Senior Fund Accountant role with Hermes Global Private Equity in London, moving to become Financial Controller with Brockton Capital LLP.
Prior to joining RMB, Colin was the Financial Controller and Compliance Officer at Mansford LLP.
Colin holds a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Klaudia joined RMB in January 2014 with over 3 years of prior accountancy experience.
Prior to joining RMB, she worked at a Chartered Accountants and a Registered Auditors firm as an Assistant Accountant.
Klaudia has knowledge in a number of areas including payroll, VAT, taxation, annual accounting and accounting software and holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from Middlesex University London. She is working towards the ACCA qualification.
Nadiya joined RMB in 2013 as an Associate, where she is responsible for all aspects of the office management as well as providing direct support to the Chief Executive Officer, RMB’s Members and senior staff.
Nadiya has over 7 years’ of managerial and administrative experience and significant involvement in client-facing activities.
Prior to embarking on her career within the financial services, Nadiya graduated from the University for the Creative Arts with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Promotion and Imaging.
Nadiya has also completed her Investment Management Certificate Unit 1.
